How it All Started

Founded on the beach in Cannes, France during the International Festival of Creativity, Cannes Lions.

Unlike what you would assume, our name did not derive from the Hollywood movie “The Usual Suspects”.  Although it’s still a honor the be associated with this masterpiece, our name actually has its origin in a famous quote in another classic: “Casablanca“.

Truth is, our ties with Hollywood are strong. We started out as a progressive events agency with close ties to the Dutch dance scene and Amsterdam nightlife.
